Fuck McGuiness. Kathy McGuiness is a convicted criminal. She was convicted for doing the very same corrupt shit that she was hired by voters to investigate and root out. She hired her daughter and her campaign consultant to work on her campaign while being paid by the auditors office. It is exactly the type of corruption that people think of when they say “They are all corrupt.”
Fuck McGuiness. Oh I’ll listen to Rob and Bill’s love-fest, but I will not be happy about it.

Judge Carpenter has decided: Kathy McGuiness is still guilty, though slightly less so. Rob and Bill go through the latest decision and what it means for sentencing and how the rest of state government will respond.

A solid episode, but honestly unless the Governor removes Kathy, she will be in that office for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, I truly believe Kathy will win that primary, in terms of working the trail alone. Lydia York has had no social presence, has no signs (down in Kent and Sussex anyhow), and I feel as though after getting the endorsement of the party that she has gotten lazy.
Signs win elections as all of us incredible political experts know.
Get a grip y’all. It’s better than you think and special K knows it.
There’s absolutely no signs of a canvassing effort, there’s no social media presence other than showing up in other candidates photos. Not sure why we can’t just say it: she thought she could ride the wave of anti-Kathy energy and didn’t think she’d have to work for it. I’m not pro-Kathy, but I can read the writing on the wall

Reminds me of “I’m voting for Trump because it would be hilarious if he won.”
1.) It’s very funny.
2.) I don’t think the power wielded by the Delaware Auditor of Accounts is as notable or potentially dangerous as the President of the United States.
3.) Imagine what Carney will have to deal with mentally if Kathy wins. Could this drive him to the ledge of insanity? I’d love to find out!

I love the concept of Highlands Bunker but I’m not a podcast person. Are transcripts available? Looks like the RSS platform has a transcript option, is it enabled for the show?
I think they have a version on wax cylinders, and for the highest patronage REV and Bill come to your house and preform a musical theater version.

(We would definitely produce a live show. We’ve considered several concepts.)
The RSS account to send the link to standard audio platforms costs money. The transcript service costs a lot more. We don’t subscribe at that level, unfortunately.
Producing content at this high quality level is intensive. Karl does most of it.
