By now everyone knows that Chris Coons labored tirelessly to seat as many Trump appointed judges as possible. He even worked overtime during a lame duck session in November 2020 AFTER Trump had lost the election. But nobody has ever asked him why?
Why did he work his ass off with Mitch McConnell? Why did he toil for the four years Trump was in to help seat a record number of Trump judges? What did he get out of it? What motivated him to work so hard on that project?
I’m not sure his baseline mewling obsequiousness and overweening desire to please his Republican Daddies explains is all. There may be a bigger story there. There must be.

In case you didn’t see it, about an hour ago Judge Aileen Cannon, Southern District of Florida, granted the request for a special master and enjoined DOJ from any further use of the seized materials until the review is completed. This was an injunction Trump’s lawyers didn’t even request. Cannon was confirmed 56-21 with TWELVE DEMOCRATS voting yes. Guess who two of them were? This occurred during a lame duck session in November 2020 AFTER Trump had lost the election.
What if the Convicted State Auditor wins in September and wins in November?
Should Carney wait until after the election in November to remove McGuiness? If he removes her prior to the election can he re-remove her after the election?
Shouldn’t the office of auditor be filled by someone who hasn’t been convicted of the very crimes the auditor’s office is tasked with uncovering and rooting out?
So many questions.
