My take?: Even though KMG skated on a lot of the dirty dealings she was involved in, she nevertheless is no longer State Auditor. And she has a criminal record. I call that a win for the AG and a win for Delawareans regardless of Steve Wood’s incessant logorrhea. Will either the Board of Pharmacy and/or the Board of Realtors take notice and take action?
Lots of very sharp critique in this piece. I suppose people will take it however it hits them.
It was intended as sort of “tough love” from third party observers.
But if just comes off as mean, I guess that’s fine too. It is what it is.
It’s really a good episode. To fill in one blank–Steve Wood worked for Brady, AND he was the DAG who testified on behalf of EVERY SINGLE BILL in the draconian mandatory sentencing package that put a shitload of people in jail for pot possession.
One more blank to fill in–Ruth Ann Minner appointed Ted Kaufman to fill out Biden’s Senate term. Pretty much everyone thought she’d name Carney. But (a) Kaufman was Biden’s choice and (b) Kaufman pledged to only serve out the term and not seek reelection. Kaufman remains the best Democratic US Senator from Delaware in my lifetime.
