The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants
This kind of gun mayhem is the price of freedom.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Taco Bell in the 1900 block of Richardson Road. The customer and employee got into an argument. Both men then pulled out guns and exchanged shots.
One victim was shot in the right leg, the other man was shot in the groin. Both were taken to a hospital.
As a working musician in the business we call pool tables fight starters. As I like to say I can dodge billiard balls (as in Ha! Ya’ missed me!) but I can’t dodge a bullet. It’s coming, the dream of the NRA has come to fruition and everybody is armed. Gee, for some reason I still don’t feel safe.
“Bring back he “Old West” they fantasize. A John Birch Society fever dream elevated by the insane in dry Arizona and California.

It really puts things into perspective. My angle? Even further shames FoxNews and the like for frightening their almost entirely white audience when they have almost nothing to fear. But what would they actually propose to HELP the people most impacted by this bloodshed? Nothing.
The statistics don’t lie. Any suggestions?

PHL sets yearly record for most guns collected at its TSA checkpoint
“There seems to be a sudden epidemic of guns that travelers are bringing to our security checkpoints,” said Christopher Murgia, TSA’s Federal Security Director for Maryland. “I don’t know exactly why this is happening, but what I do know is that it needs to stop.”
TSA officials said the most common excuse given by travelers is that they claim that they “forgot” that they had their loaded guns with them.
