Song of the Day 1/19: First Aid Kit, “A Feeling That Never Came”

I usually leave the new music to El Somnambulo, who does it better than I could ever hope to. But I don’t think he flagged this quiet banger when the Swedish indie-folk duo, sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, dropped their fifth album, “Palomino,” last November.

When I heard this tune on the radio I didn’t even realize it was them — I’ve never heard them use this much instrumentation or sound this pop-oriented in their 15-year career. Anyway I heard this on the radio the other day and it’s been with me ever since, so I though I’d share it with you.
