The “Conservative Movement” Is a Giant Exercise in Plutocrat-Financed Astroturfing

Even on the state level we can see that this is true. A very small number of wealthy people are keeping the Potemkin village that is the DEGOP populated with actors that shamble up and down the state to “boo” at various anti-EV pep rallies or what ever the thing is to boo at this month.

Take the Bean/Kenny/Copeland/Ben Dupont money out of the DEGOP and what it really left?

As noted when the billionaire money dries up so do the groups like the Tea Party. The same fate awaits the MAGA for brains movement, if Trump gets the nomination and loses the billionaires take their money and go home as they search for a new messiah of the monied classes. The same if Trump is defeated in a primary as old wanna be dictators are a ruble a dozen at this point.
