  1. It appears that Trump wasn’t found liable for the rape b/c Ms. Carroll couldn’t be certain that she was penetrated. She was certain, however, about very graphic details of the sexual assault.

  2. bamboozer says:

Well, say what you will, it’s victory and for Trump a defeat. Endless appeals or not.

  3. GeoBumm says:

HA! Hope his lawyer got his money upfront. Good look getting your invoices paid after losing a case like this. Not saying he should have won the case, but TFG has said he pays his lawyers ‘when they win’. With this blackeye, he probably won’t even get his calls returned. Sucker.

    • Trump convicted Trump. Anybody who watched his deposition with Carroll’s lawyer pretty much knew that Tacopina had no chance.

      • GeoBumm says:

Agreed. Do you think TFG sees it that way? My bet is that, once again, in his mental midget mind it’s someone else’s fault. Any attorney taking the “unconstitutional silencing” case may want to get triple anticipated costs up front. IMHO.

  4. Trump now claims he was the victim of ‘unconstitutional silencing’. No, really:

“Former President Trump is claiming he was silenced during the trial involving author E. Jean Carroll, who is suing the former president for sexual battery and defamation, saying that he will appeal the case over its “unconstitutional silencing.”

“Waiting for a jury decision on a False Accusation where I, despite being a current political candidate and leading all others in both parties, am not allowed to speak or defend myself, even as hard nosed reporters scream questions about this case at me. In the meantime, the other side has a book falsely accusing me of Rape, & is working with the press,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Tuesday.”

He unconstitutionally silenced himself? Hey, the judge gave Trump a last chance to testify after Trump CHOSE not to testify.

    • Alby says:

      “unconstitutional silencing”

      If only.

    • GeoBumm says:

IIRC, she also has the dress and DNA test results. TFG has refused to provide a sample that would provide undeniable proof of his innocence. Wonder why he never agreed to do so. Hmmmmm

I was just reading more of the deposition. Holy shit! It is fucking coo-coo. Trump on the stand would have been an unmitigated disaster for the defense.
