I haven’t listened to much hyperpop, but this song by 100 gecs, from their recent album “10,000 gecs,” caught my ear with its syncopated rhythm and aggro lyrics that seem to apply to some of the camera hogs in Congress.

Hyperpop emerged about a decade ago in Britain, with bands giving a campy, avant-garde attitude and modern production gloss to simple pop melodies. 100 gecs, a duo originally from St. Louis, is considered one of the genre’s leading lights.
