Last Week’s Poll Results and This Week’s Poll.

Filed in National by on June 12, 2023

Per wikipedia, Kyle Evans Gay is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Delaware Senate representing District 5.[1]

She came out of nowhere to dominate our highly scientific Lt Gov poll.  Is she even interested in it?  If someone interested in her senate seat?   So many questions.

This week’s poll…  What happens to Trump?   With our stupid Electoral College, there is a 50/50 chance that the most absurd option is shockingly possible, if not probable.

Watch your grammatical typos in the poll. (No need for apostrophes.)

Thanks for the comment. I needed to clean it up and add the choice that I think it most likely. Hung jury.

  3. Kyle is my senator, and I think she’s great. I can’t imagine her running for Lt. Gov., though.

Although–I wouldn’t be shocked at all if she ran for AG after Kathy Jennings retires. She’s already worked in the AG’s office.

Per the electoral college: What is needed is for a candidate that says plainly I will not accept defeat at the hands of the electoral college. Followed by a chorus of but.. but.. but… The constitution! Which like the bible is open to interpretation and conflicts within itself. The constitution promises equal representation, obviously the college is anti democratic and pisses on the idea of equal representation. A constitutional crises may emerge in which the defenders are forced to defend what I see as the indefensible. Also feel the college has endured as long as it has merely because the majority of Americans have no idea what it is and what it can do.

Nice thought, but ain’t gonna happen anytime soon. The system is stacked so only an R can win with lower popular vote but 270 from the Electoral College and highly unlikely in that circumstance that Ds would control House and Senate. Not accepting the outcome would place the loser in position of calling for another January 6, and the mind boggles at the thought of a D-inspired insurrection.

Not to impugn your voters or the Senator, but is it possible that her candidacy may have benefited from the desire of some for the sophomoric humor inherent in these signs?
