In response to the announcement by Lisa Blunt Rochester that she will
be seeking the Senate seat that will be vacated by Tom Carper in 2024,
Julianne Murray, Chair of the Delaware State Republican Party,
responded as follows:

“The Delaware Republican Party looks forward to challenging Lisa Blunt
Rochester on her record as a Congresswoman from Delaware. Many
Delawareans feel forgotten and do not believe that they have had
representation in the U.S. Congress that improves their lives. Over the
course of the upcoming campaign season, we intend to robustly point
out how out of touch the Congresswoman is with the lives of ordinary
Delawareans. Delaware needs new representation – not another
politician that is simply ‘moving up.’”

It feels weird to agree with Juliane on the wording of the statement, even if our visions for what Delaware needs are diametrically opposed

    • Alby says:

They love to throw the word around, but conservatives don’t know any “ordinary Delawareans.” They only know each other.

I think that Julianne Murray is mad that her political career is moving in the opposite direction after every election.
