Lauren Boebert, demonstrating the classiness we’ve all become familiar with, was booted from a performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” in Denver the other night after managing a hat trick of obnoxious behavior – vaping, taking video and singing along with the show. Several patrons complained.
“I’ve never seen anyone act like that before,” the unidentified woman told a columnist for The Denver Post on Wednesday. Boebert’s “outrageous” behavior included vaping ad nauseam, and simply replying “no” when the woman—who said she is pregnant—requested she stop. The Republican representative also filmed the show for long stretches at a time, and was “kissing the man she was with,” according to the Post.
The man the newly single politician was with, incidentally, is a Democrat who hosted drag performances at the bar he owns, so we can add “hypocrite” to the lengthy list of her faults.
Boebert must be familiar with the show if she was singing along, though apparently she doesn’t know the difference between a stage show and a rock concert. In her self-congratulatory tweet about the incident she wrote, “Let me know how it ends!” The finale is one of the weakest songs in the show, so here’s the penultimate tune, from the original Broadway cast recording. The subject should be familiar, given that Boebert is a big Trump fan.
