Robbie Robertson wrote it, Levon Helm sings it, but this track is a shining moment for Garth Hudson, the sole surviving member of The Band. He plays all the brass and woodwind instruments, as well as the organ and synthesizer. The song appeared on the Band’s 1975 LP “Northern Lights – Southern Cross.” It was released as a single, but only made it to No. 62 on the Hot 100.
