Trump: ‘Bloodbath’ Coming If He Loses.  Prediction or promise?  As in a call for yet another insurrection?:

The dark view resurfaced throughout his speech. While discussing the U.S. economy and its auto industry, Mr. Trump promised to place tariffs on cars manufactured abroad if he won in November. He added: “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a blood bath for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a blood bath for the country.”

For nearly 90 minutes outside the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, Ohio, Mr. Trump delivered a discursive speech, replete with attacks and caustic rhetoric. He noted several times that he was having difficulty reading the teleprompter.

The former president opened his speech by praising the people serving sentences in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol. Mr. Trump, who faces criminal charges tied to his efforts to overturn his election loss, called them “hostages” and “unbelievable patriots,” commended their spirit and vowed to help them if elected in November.

‘I’m A-Scared Of Going To Jail’.  One of Trump’s malefactors begs the Supreme Court to spare him the indignity:

Former Trump economic adviser Peter Navarro filed an emergency appeal with the Supreme Court on Friday, a last-ditch effort to avoid reporting for his prison term as he appeals his conviction for contempt of Congress.

Navarro has been ordered to report to a Miami prison on Tuesday to serve a four-month sentence in connection with refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

In his Friday appeal to the high court, Navarro’s attorneys argue he should be allowed to remain free while he pursues his appeal as he poses no public safety or flight risk.

Something tells me he’s not finding religion, or even pseudo-religion like Charles Colson, in the can.  Not with quotes like this:

“Why would White House men – prez, vp, senior aide – EVER hire a woman after watching book pimps Cassiday Hutchinson, Alyssa Farah, Stephanie Grisham, Kayleigh McEnany, Olivia Troye throw mud @realDonaldTrump @RudyGiuliani et. al. Pimp ladies be giving real MAGA WOMEN bad name.”

Joe Loserman Blasts Schumer’s Criticism Of Netanayahu.  Sorta demonstrating that Gore did it to himself.  Lieberman was gonna get all the Jews in Florida to vote for the ticket, remember?  Except, even back then, there was a split amongst Jews as to the proper course for Israel.  You all remember that his wife was a high-powered lobbyist, mostly for Big Pharma, right?  She and Tipper Gore were proponents of censoring rock lyrics as well.  Anyway:

“[F]or a U.S. Senator, let alone a majority leader, let alone the highest-ranking Jewish elected official in Washington, to tell Israelis that it’s time to get rid of [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu], that’s outrageous,” Lieberman said in an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM that aired Sunday.

The former Connecticut senator also referred to the speech as a “mistake” and said that he “can’t ever remember anything like it.”

Welp, at least we know that the No Labels Party stands firmly with AIPAC.  As if we had any doubt.  AIPAC and anti-vaxxers.  Perfect together.

Last night, our 7th RD Democratic Committee cooked the weekly meal for the Arden Dinner Gild at the Arden Gild Hall.  Arden Town Meeting Chair Jeff Politis was our lead chef.  NCC Councilman John Cartier was his sous chef, and the rest of us helped out as well, including our State Rep. Larry Lambert, who peels a mean potato.  We had a lot of public officials and candidates attend, and I thought it was a great evening.  Perhaps the fact that there were no speeches was one of the reasons.  We did a Guinness Irish Beef Stew, and Mushroom Colcannon was our veggie alternative.  People got to talk to Matt Meyer, Collin O’Mara, Kyle Evans Gay, Marcus Henry, Karen Hartley-Nagle, Monique Johns, and Eugene Young.  Also, former State Sen. Harris McDowell attended,  which was only fitting because, without the efforts of Harris and others, there would be no Claymont Train Station, which is in our district.  If I missed the names of any other candidates who were there, please let me know.  Politics, Delaware-style.  Pretty cool.

What do you want to talk about?
