Just when you thought that Israel couldn’t sink any lower, they drone-bombed a World Central Kitchen vehicle, killing seven people working to bring food to famine-stricken Gaza – despite having cleared the trip with Israel’s defense department ahead of time. Which demonstrates that this regime isn’t just evil, it’s also incompetent.

RFK Jr. tried to claim that Joe Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Donald Trump, which is the kind of idiotic statement that could only come from the kind of perv who kept a diary of his numerous extra-marital trysts that prompted his wife to kill herself when she found it. A normal human being would slink away from public scrutiny in shame after demonstrating that the only part of the family legacy he inherited was an inability to keep his dick in his pants.

Another member of Trump’s Whiny Bitch Brigade, Peter Navarro, really, really, doesn’t like being in prison. He’s done two weeks of his 40-day sentence and he’s already mewling to another Supreme Court justice to let him out. This constant barrage of nuisance suits, Trump’s MO for decades, is all the proof you need to see that our “justice” system is a rigged game worthy of the most banana-flavored banana republic.

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who’s running for a Senate seat he might very well win, has some ‘splainin’ to do over the Key Bridge collapse, because he pushed hard for these mammoth tanker ships to use the Port of Baltimore. Naturally, he refused to answer for it when reporters came calling about it.

Joe Flaherty, writer and actor on the classic sketch comedy show SCTV, died Monday at age 82. His SCTV characters included Count Floyd, host of Monster Chiller Horror Theater, who dressed like a vampire but howled like a werewolf. The gag was that the movies, usually starring Dr. Tongue – “Doctor Tongue’s 3-D House of Pancakes,” “Dr. Tongue’s 3-D House of Stewardesses,” and so on – were never scary, leaving Count Floyd to apologize and promise that next week’s movie would be. SCTV rarely ventured into politics, but made an exception with “3-D House of Representatives.”

Flaherty also played station owner Guy Caballero, who always appeared in a wheelchair despite not needing one. See if this clip reminds you of anyone.

The bombing of world Central Kitchen was a mistake. Israel has owned up to it and apologized. In the “fog of war” tragic mistakes happen.

    • ‘Tragic mistake’, my ass.

If there was a mistake, it was that Israel demonstrated their ongoing campaign of wanton destruction to the point where it couldn’t be ignored.

Killing Gazans with impunity has been their operating principle. They just got done destroying two more hospitals. Yeah, yeah, I know there was someone from Hamas allegedly hiding in the Janitor’s closet, so the destruction was justified.

Killing the aid workers merely amplified their ongoing policy. Whether they intended to kill the aid workers and enable the ongoing starvation of a helpless population will have to wait for an investigation. But Netanyahu has operated without guardrails for months.

Word is that Biden is ‘angry’. How about he DO something about it? He continues to enable a genocide. He needs to stop sending Israel weapons. Full stop.

Israel has the Herculean task of fighting a war in a densely populated area, where the perpetrators of that war — Hamas — hide in underground tunnels under schools, hospitals, mosques and use civilians as shields. Hamas started the conflagration with a brutal attack on and killing of 1200 civilians and has taken over a hundred innocent people as hostages — including babies, the elderly. Hamas has REFUSED Israel’s offer of a ceasefire (which would help Gazans) and the return of Israeli hostages. It is clear that Hamas prefers Gazans to be tragically killed because Hamas can blame Israel and make sure the world supports Hamas, not Israel. How evil can an entity like Hamas be??

Whether evil, incompetent, or both, the WCK attack should never have happened, because IDF should have been back home with the hostages months ago, and planning negotiations with Hamas’s successors. That could have happened at any point and still can.

“Stop sending Israel weapons” is a convenient go-to, but is not well thought out with regard to next steps and outcomes – which probably wouldn’t be the outcomes critics expect.

I hope to see regime change in Gaza and in Israel, and in that order.

  2. John Kowalko says:

Move along. Nothing to see here. Just a continued slaughtering of innocents and humanitarians. Releasing the hostages while Bebe, the.butcher, is in power will guarantee a deliberate annihilating of the Palestinian people and a takeover of their lands. More Kibbutz’s for the psychotic right wing “chosen people” to live on.

  3. Jason says:

It seems clear to me that the point of this is to identify every person (man, woman, child, aid worker, escaped hostage trying to get home) in the territories as Hamas and act in accordingly. No doubt that view makes me Hamas in the eyes of many(?)

    In related news,
Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), one of the top Democratic backers of Israel and close ally to President Biden, suggested Thursday that the U.S. should condition its aid to Israel as the war in Gaza drags on.

    Conditions…lol
