Thank you for everything you’ve done to support my campaign for Mayor.
Today, I wanted to send a different message. I’m urging you to support Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long to be the next Governor for the State of Delaware.
Over the last several weeks, Bethany’s opponents have distorted the truth and misrepresented the facts about her record.
I know Bethany as well as anyone in public life. We’ve served together for 20 years. Bethany has the heart of a public servant, and will work tirelessly for the people of Delaware as our next Governor.

- Turned a $400 million state budget deficit into a $500 million surplus.
- Rebuilt our economy, creating more than 30,000 new jobs.

John Carney is a pathetic coward, and always has been. He takes his place with Sherman Tribbitt and Ruth Ann Minner in Delaware’s Hall of Fucknugget Governors. Amazing how seldom anyone talented ascends to Woodburn.
What he refuses to see or say is: “The shit’s real.”
He knows she’s up shits creek and being Mayor with Meyer as Governor is going to suck at levels he can’t fully comprehend yet.
It would be nice if someone asked him what about the report from Lampinski that he doesn’t agree with and why?
His government requested and paid for it. Seemingly because they thought this investigator was very good. He hired him.
What has he seen that makes him distrust the former FBI chief’s work?
Because it seems that the investigator trained in financial crime thinks she still has 30k of donor money they stole. Bethany’s response was “no that’s not true.” That must be nice to be friends with the Governor so that you can just say “no” when someone demonstrates evidence of a crime. I’m reminded of the woman who went to jail for stealing from the petty cash drawer at the Girl Scouts.
This woman stole 1500 dollars. 1500.

My guess?: They enforce the law in Maryland.
Carney the clam. Comes out of his shell to grab his 4 pension checks from public offices. If elected Mayor, that will be 5 pension checks off Delaware voters. Meanwhile he persecuted state pensioners by giving them inferior healthcare benefits. Your vote must be adjusted, cracked-compass Carney cannot be trusted.
What makes people think Carney will win? He’s got loads of money but Wilmington has more black voters than white and Velda has been active. I don’t think he will win.
And I say that with a grin.
Well, he SHOULDN’T win. Gotta say, I was VERY impressed with this interview that Velda did with Peter MacArthur on WDEL.
