The Samara Joy song is amazing. I haven’t been in a roots mood this week, but the Bonny Light Horseman song broke through. Not really much dirt on their shoes, though; I hear some Fleetwood Mac in there. The Geordie Greep song reminds me of Steely Dan, which means I like it. But nobody’s going to confuse Geordie with Donald Fagan. I haven’t really followed Kacey Musgraves’ shift from country to pop-rock, but I like this song. Kara Jackson always.
