I do know what 3/4 have in common – Lenderman is on both of them. On the other hand, I really like this Lenderman song but have never quite been able to get on the Waxahatchee bandwagon. Maybe it’s because “She’s Leaving You” is the only one from Lenderman’s album i’m really liking so far. I agree that the Fontaines D.C. song is a great one and i’m always happy to see Brit indie rockers acknowledged. I’m glad Jessica Pratt has moved out of semi-cult status into something like the mainstream. She’s been one of my favorites from the start. I think Sarah Jarosz is getting better and better. Didn’t know much about Grace Bowers but this song works for me. Very nice Top 50.

    • Discovered Grace Bowers on XPN. She’s really young, but she’s a killer guitar player, her lead singer rocks, and that’s a real nice band she has.

If I were still booking shows, I definitely would have tried to book her.

Surprised you don’t like Waxahatchee. I think she’s fantastic.

I’m also surprised I don’t like her more. By the way, two British rockers I would have on a list along with Fontaines D.C.- new band Brigitte Calls Me Baby (especially for Smiths fans) and Blossoms (liked in general, but maybe not well-liked).
