Thumping The Tub For Chumbawamba’s Boff Whalley
A fortuitous, and completely coincidental, mash-up of two events.
A couple of weeks ago, Al featured Chumbawamba’s ‘The Day The Nazi Died’ as his song of the day:
For reasons that neither of us can figure out, the post and song went totally viral. Perhaps it’s because people need their political viewpoint now more than ever.
By total coincidence (Al and I had not discussed this before he posted the song), I was involved in booking Boff Whalley of Chumbawamba for this event for the Arden Gild Hall. It’s a joint venture of the Arden Concert, Library, and Scholars’ Gilds:
That’s Friday, March 28 at 7:30 at the Arden Gild Hall. Boff will perform songs; read from his brand new book, ‘But Life Isn’t Like That, Is It?’, will answer questions, and sign copies of the book. Admission is free, although we do appreciate contributions to offset the event’s cost.
So, sign up on the link to make sure you have a seat, and engage with somebody who we need now more than ever during this evening of music and conversation!
