Probably only available to the first 50 to respond, so keep it to yourself.

Well, 46, when you subtract tickets for my wife and I, and for our daughter and son-in-law.

A New Jersey date fell through.  We received the SOS this morning, and by 3 this afternoon, largely thanks to the quick work of Ron Ozer, we got the great news:

Hi everyone – One of my favorite artists had a show cancel on him this Saturday in NJ. We were fortunate to get him to our place for a special show.

BEN SOLLEE LIVE AT P3 – 5/10 7pm (doors 6pm) $15

Over the last two decades, Kentuckian Ben Sollee has distinguished himself as multi-faceted creative, blurring the lines between music, tech, and experiential design. As a cellist, songwriter, and storyteller he has toured the globe, sometimes by bicycle, performing his original music.

As a composer he has created music for stage, screen, and virtual reality apps earning an Emmy Award for his 2018 score for Base Ballet. As a producer, he has curated hundreds of live events including experiences for the Speed Art Museum and Lincoln Center. Throughout it all, he has continued to advocate for people and the land by creating and curating experiences that grow a greater sense of togetherness.

A great way to start your Mother’s day weekend!

Hope to see you!

I booked Ben twice at the Arden Gild Hall. He is an amazing cellist, singer/songwriter, collaborator and, most importantly, he is a real humane human. Some samples (I’ll try to impose some discipline on myself and limit the samples):

That last song honors the memory of his percussionist, traveling companion, and beloved friend, Jordon Ellis.

Ben’s house concert is in northern Wilmington.  I hope to see you there!  But–don’t tell anybody.
