It took forty-odd years, but it seems legendary hard rockers Spinal Tap have finally perfected the staging of their classic track “Stonehenge.” As shown in this clip of Marty DiBergi’s upcoming documentary, “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” the boys invited Elton John, who as Reg Dwight grew up listening to the New Originals, to provide piano and vocals.
Unlike on previous tours, the triptych fit through the stage doors and was not in danger of being trod upon by dwarfs, though as it descends it does look for a moment like it might force the band to audition another batch of drummers. “The End Continues” is set for a Sept. 12 release. “Stonehenge” is the final track on the soundtrack LP.
