Supreme Court Allows Trump To Deport 300,000 Venezuelans:
The Supreme Court said Friday the Trump administration can for now strip temporary protections from hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan immigrants, pausing a federal judge’s order saying officials had acted improperly on the issue.
“The same result that we reached in May is appropriate here,” the order stated.
The issue had returned to the Supreme Court afterU.S. District Judge Edward Chen ruled on Sept. 5 that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi L. Noem broke the law by revoking the temporary protected status of a combined 1.1 million Venezuelan and Haitian immigrants. This protected status allows people from certain countries to remain for a time in the United States for humanitarian reasons.
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote in a dissent that the high court was choosing to “wordlessly override the considered judgments of our colleagues” on the lower courts in deciding “to allow this Administration to disrupt as many lives as possible, as quickly as possible.”
“I view today’s decision as yet another grave misuse of our emergency docket,” she wrote. She added: “Because, respectfully, I cannot abide our repeated, gratuitous, and harmful interference with cases pending in the lower courts while lives hang in the balance, I dissent.”
Trump Has Decided That He’s At War With Venezuela:
Hegseth said the boat was traveling in international waters “just off the coast of Venezuela” and carrying “substantial amounts” of narcotics. He did not identify what type of drugs were on board or present evidence of the crew’s involvement in the illegal drug trade, other than to say the U.S. intelligence community had identified them as such “without a doubt.”
Hegseth, as usual, provided no evidence substantiating his allegations.

In recent weeks the Broadview facility has become the site of escalations by federal agents against protesters and journalists. Videos of agents deploying tear gas, pepper balls and roughly throwing protesters to the ground have gone viral, amidst the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
The Trump administration targeted Chicago with federal law enforcement starting in August, falsely claiming there had been a rise in crime in the city in recent years. Since then, there have been increasingly aggressive reports of Ice enforcement in communities, including helicopters hovering over apartment raids. There have also been arrests of local officials and candidates for office who were protesting, including Illinois’ ninth congressional district Kat Abughazaleh, who went viral with a video of an Ice agent slamming her to the ground, Daniel Biss, the Evanston mayor, and a city alderman who were aggressively arrested while trying to advocate in a hospital setting.
This is Fascism, pure and simple. Any Democrat care to call it what it is?
FBI Agent Fired For Not Arranging Comey Perp Walk:
An FBI agent was relieved of duty for declining to arrange a “perp walk” of the bureau’s former director, James Comey, in front of news media cameras after Comey was federally charged last month, four people briefed on the matter said on Friday.
An FBI spokeswoman declined to comment on personnel matters.
Reuters could not immediately determine how or when senior FBI officials wanted to stage bringing Comey into the bureau’s Washington field office. Only a summons to appear in court was issued in the case, and not an arrest warrant. However, defendants will often report to an FBI field office for booking after a court summons is issued.
Is there not one Democrat willing to come out and say that Trump is unfit to be President, and to advocate for the invocation of the 25th Amendment?
