‘Bulo’s Fave Tunes: March 2026

So many good ones this month that I had to cut a couple. Don’t fret–I included them in the Spotify playlist. At first, second and third listens, there’s a serious End-Of-Year Top 10 contender in this batch. Which one do you think it is?

Yes, saw my shadow this morning, so six more weeks until I can start playing my Brazilian music (but I’m cheating already). I like those two songs you mention but only OK. The song by Weird Nightmare would be closer to the mark. But what I was really happy to see was the Cut Worms song. I thought I might be the only one around here who knew much about them, but I should have known better. I’ve always followed and liked Bonnie Prince Billy (Will Oldham), partly because he’s from/lives in my home town and uses a lot of musicians from there. I like the Stuck song.
Excellent choices. None of which are my possible Top 10 selection…
Sluice? (I like it too). Trey Henlsey? (ditto – in fact I like both of these a lot). Morgan Nagler? (not so much).
Took me a couple of listens, but Noah Kahan’s ‘Porch Light’ really stuck with me.
