It’s no less pointed today, when Donald Trump has proclaimed that the government can’t pay for day care or health insurance because the military needs more bombs to drop on Iran. Jones, BTW, died at age 60 shortly after suffering a stroke while watching the 2016 presidential returns coming in on TV.
