Carney Excoriated in NJ Letters – “Preposterous and Embarrassing”
REV got to the heart of the new economic board’s shameful secrecy in his letter to the News Journal. This is no way for a Democracy to do business.

The four legislators were all sponsors of the bill, including prime sponsor Bryon Short.
That’s why they’re there.
So.. not looking good for polity.
Give the News Journal a click.

I dedicate the “blowing a gale” line to my main man D.S. A fellow Carney opponent from way back.
Audere est facere.
The facts in that letter alone have been the most transparent information about the Partnership since its inception…..
Thanks for the link REV. I couldn’t find it this morning.
And then there’s Brian Townsend’s piece — “Let’s make Delaware the Amazon of states” on the NJ Opinion pages — http://www.delawareonline.com/story/opinion/contributors/2017/09/22/delaware-needs-bold-vision-prime-location-amazon-dialogue-delaware/689574001/
The only problem is, every point he makes is one on which Delaware would fail:
“Delaware has the best schools, Mr. Bezos.” –You gotta be kidding.
“Delaware has the cleanest water, Mr. Bezos.” — So why we can’t fish or swim in the Delaware River?
“Delaware has the most reliable infrastructure, Mr. Bezos.” — Must be true, because our potholes have never swallowed an 18-wheeler.
“Delaware has the safest communities, Mr. Bezos.” — Like Wilmington, like Dover, just for starters.
“Delaware has the most efficient, effective system of health care, Mr. Bezos.” — Well, we will have it, after you show us how.
“Delaware is an inclusive state, open to all, Mr. Bezos.” — Ask any of the board members of the Prosperity Partnership, and they’ll give you all the reassurance you need.
The most significant line in Townsend’s piece is this one: “What would that look like in 2018? Imagine the following:”
Because none of it exists in 2017 and when Townsend wakes up from his dream a year from now, he’s not likely to see any of the changes he’s imagining.
There’s signs all over the inland bays that the water is unsafe to swim and the shellfish are contaminated. People pay huge sums of money to stay at the DE beaches
ALL waters in Delaware have fish consumption advisories.

Wow, so they have made a political decision to say you can eat 1 portion of fish a year without being poisoned by PCB’s in most of DE water ways rather than just saying it’s dangerous to eat any?
