When you hear a politician say “Regulations are stifling business.” Yell, “What regulations? Name ONE!”
Now your low tax shit hole can have its very own shit train.
Two months ago, dozens of train cars filled with ten million pounds of human shit from waste disposal plants in New York and New Jersey came to rest outside the town of Parrish, Alabama, population 982.
They’ve been there ever since, rotting in the sun, smelling unimaginably bad.
They were destined for a landfill site in Adamsville, Alabama, but the residents of the adjacent town of West Jefferson obtained an injunction blocking the site’s staging railyard from receiving the biowaste, so now the shit is in limbo in Parrish, where a the region’s commitment to small government and light-touch regulation means there’s no rules against storing tons of human feces in populated areas.
In fairness to the good people of the small towns of Alabama, you can’t expect the town fathers (or mothers) to have a law or a regulation to cover every possible eventuality.
Most laws get passed after problems crop up — not before.
I mean, this could just as easily happen in Delaware, say in a place like Hartly, where the town nearly disbanded when the folk got tired of governing themselves a couple years ago.
There is a positive in all of this: We can now look at Roy Moore, tell him that his state is full of shit, and be absolutely correct.
I love how the ads with this post are for colon health products for pets. A+!
@SW: The ads will be unique to each person, I believe, because I didn’t get that one. Big brother has not just been watching you, he’s been taking notes.
Also, phone your doctor first thing.
Well… So much for “where it goes, nobody knows”. ‘Cause now we know.
The scent of liberty
Fun fact: Rehoboth’s outfall pipe/treatment plant came in over bid for their bio solids treatment upgrades. They eliminated the upgrade. Soooooo, they will be trucking out their shit. Wonder if it will end up in Alabama?
