It has been a rough couple of years. Trump has put stress on our democratic systems that it was not built to endure. But rising up to challenge the worst in American, I have seen the best in America. So I’m thankful for you.
You tireless door knockers. You determined meeting organizers. You “not today motherfuckers” and you no-bullshit takers of every stripe.

Truth is you don’t know what a structure will endure until it’s put to the test. Ours has suffered a lot of damage, but I think the eye of the storm passed over us on Nov. 6. Two years still to endure, but we’ve passed the halfway point of the Category 5 Shitstorm Donald and the house divided against itself still stands.
Yep, I’m starting to grind my teeth a bit less since Election Day.
