After Trump, what to do about Fox News?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Trumpism will live on beyond Trump. It has always been with us and it is flourishing thanks to Fox News. And it is abundantly clear that Fox News is a cancer in this country. It is a cancer that defies excision by hiding behind the language of the first amendment while it poisons the minds of dim wits and losers, finds common cause with Russia and other enemies of democracy and is actively trying tear down our representative form of government.

The First Amendment isn’t a suicide pact, so this Independence day, the questions is – how do we keep our freedom while tolerating and ongoing, well funded attack on our freedom?
