    When I heard Dr Yasser Payne discuss “Acting White Theory” it was like I was punched in the stomach. I started thinking about what other anti-black racism I’ve passively consumed and internalized because it connects so easily to the anti-black racism that is baked into American life that it doesn’t even register.
