Delaware Rethugs Sue To Have Mail-In Ballots Tossed.  A 50-state strategy that may end up in the Supreme Court. Judge not buying it:

Glasscock asserted that Republicans do not appear concerned about disenfranchisement, given their remedy is to toss out “100 percent” of ballots sent through the new vote by mail system.

“What you’re concerned about is not that people will not be able to have their votes counted – you’re quite willing to have people’s votes not recorded,” he said. “You’re trying to vindicate the Constitution itself in the abstract. This is not about voting rights.”

Klein refuted the assertion, stating her clients care about the sanctity of votes, but also about protections to ensure there is a reliable vote tally. Such protections “are not existent in the vote by mail” system, she claimed.

Post Office To Reverse DeJoy Policies?  Yes, according to this story.  Judges made ’em do it. DeJoy says they can’t comply–already stripped sorting machines for parts.

Psychologists: Prez Is A Psychopath.  So many examples to enumerate. The article enumerates them.

Death Rattle Of The Republican Party?  Fact: It’s already died in Delaware.  For those who can’t share Alby’s view, this might at least provide some succor.  Let us hope that there is some succor born every minute.

Just to be clear, I am not advocating a Panglossian view of our situation. I am arguing against despair, which is what I see from too many anti-Trump people these days.

You, El Som, are angry and outraged, reactions I think are good and necessary. Despair is corrosive and psychologically debilitating.

I read the “Death Rattle of the GOP” article yesterday, and I would point out that some of us have been saying this for quite a while. Indeed, without the “silver bullet” of Trump (article’s terminology), the GOP would have lost with Cruz or Rubio in 2016, allowing them to limp forward for longer.

Trump has accelerated the decline, just as the article suggests.

Democrats, however, should not gloat, because the Democratic Party is in equally dire circumstances. Absent the unifying power of anti-Trumpism, its two main branches would be fighting each other tooth and nail, as they did in 2016 and will again in the future.

University of Delaware receives over $120 million in Delaware taxpayer money every year and refuses any kind of scrutiny or accountability under cover of their FOIA exemption that I’ve tried to repeal for the last dozen years. Delaware Democratic House leadership has refused to release the legislation repealing the ridiculous exemption from the Administrative Committee (membership comprised of leadership).

Assanis only taking a 10% paycut? Huh!!!!

      Typical liberal.

      • Alby says:

        Anonymous dickhead trolling? Typical conservative.

        • Alby says:

“Typical liberal” is a small-minded comment. I respond in kind. In responding to conservatives, that means small-minded name calling.

This isn’t a forum for you to air your views — not that you’ve demonstrated that you have any worth airing.

You want a respectful response? Contribute something besides your ignorance. You’ve been trying for quite a while and have never managed it.

You can show yourself out. The door will be locked behind you.

        • Alby says:

Just out of curiosity, what kind of response did you think your empty-headed, name-calling comment deserved? Isn’t calling out someone for name-calling — right after you’ve engaged in name-calling — hypocritical?

Never mind. Conservatives are too stupid to see their own hypocrisy.

That dude pointed his gun at my 69 year old ass along with a group of mostly black women! It was reported to the DSP on the scene and they did nothing. Then they claimed the guy “fled”. That’s a demonstrable lie! The dude hung out until the event ended and casually drove away. His name is known. There was an investigation worthy of the ” Great Train Robbery” for egg throwing a couple weeks back. But for pointing a firearm at a group of black folks ON VIDEO, crickets! I have communicated with multiple electeds including a certain retired Trooper and more crickets! My conclusion is the DSP is not being controlled by the chain of command but by the Trump loving FOP! Mr. Carney, Ms. Jennings please prove me wrong!
