Computer issues fixed, coffee at the ready, let’s go.

Rethugs Plot Swift Confirmation For Coney Barrett.  Right around Halloween.  Voters oppose the move.  Will the power play impact the election? Yes, I think so.

Judge Removes Trump’s Director Of Public Lands.  He had served beyond the legal limit for ‘acting’ directors. Montana Governor Steve Bullock forced the move.  BTW, I think Bullock’s gonna win that Senate race.

Portland Proud Boys Rally Fizzles. There really aren’t that many of them. Where was Sean Spicer when they needed him?

Josh Marshall: D Senators Shouldn’t Participate In Corrupt Confirmation Process. I tend to agree with him: Emphasize the sham nature of this exercise.  What do you think?

The D’s Have Tools To Delay Vote On Barrett.  Will they use them?  Will Coons, for example, support these tactics?  Making 51 Rethugs stay in DC to vote on all these motions is a delicious prospect.

COVID-19 Making A Comeback In US.  This is what happens when it’s every state for itself.

WEHT The Carbon Tax?  Both parties pretty much disdain it now.

Robert Reich: Trump Nation Has Seceded

Amy Coney Barrett Can Decide Whether She Would Recuse Herself On Election-Related Matters.  While the law requires her recusal in certain instances, she, and she alone, will decide the law.

Trump Has Built A Legal Team To Challenge Election.  I guess this is where all that campaign cash went.

State Cops Finally Investigating Gun-Wielding Witzke Supporter.  Guess their Inspector Clouseau act fooled nobody.

What do you want to talk about?

I appreciate the optimism on the investigation of the Witzke supporter/thug. As an actual victim who looked down the barrel of his weapon I am less so.
There was a refusal to investigate when incident was reported at the scene and the suspect drove casually away when the event ended entirely unmolested. Despite this the DSP in an official release by their PIO falsely reported that the suspect fled. The suspect’s ID is known to the DSP. My willingness to give a sworn statement is known to the DSP. The willingness of other witnesses is known to the DSP. This is not a complicated case. There is Video, there are multiple eyewitnesses and approaching 72 hours and we have crickets. Witzke has been hiring off duty police for her events routinely I am suspicious that the Trump supporting police unions are putting their thumb on the scale of this investigation. Superintendent Zebley, AG Jennings am I wrong?

    • Alby says:

I would be surprised if the police didn’t put their thumb on the scale.

Maybe they’re so busy tracking down those egg-throwers they don’t have time to arrest ammosexuals.

What was the most unstable thing about that guy? Flinging a gun around in public like it was a fidget spinner; or that he was wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day; or the gut hanging out the bottom of his t-shirt?

  2. Alby says:

    “Will Coons support these tactics?”

    Sure, when pigs fly.

  3. SussexWorker says:

Yesterday a caravan of cars rodefrom west and east to and around the Circle in Sussex and then headed toward Lewes. On Savannah Road, east of Route 1, vehicles in that caravan were pulled over by the state police and were issued citations for “beeping horns”. I didn’t mention that these cars were festooned with Biden/Harris posters and honked their horns the entire route. When one driver asked why Biden supporters were being pulled over for honking their horns, the response was “because Biden people defaced Trump signs on Route 1 .”

I sue hope the leadership in the State Police, Dept of Homeland Security and the Governor’s office step in before this police suppression action escalates any further. In 2016 a state trooper stationed herself INSIDE a Sussex polling place and stayed there until her superiors were contacted by the Department of Elections.

This all in a state Trump cannot carry. Imagine what they will do in battleground states.

  4. Joe Connor says:

I got a text confirming this Sussex activity last night. I did not want to mix it with my Gun issue.
The guy indicated that he got an $82 ticket and that at least one other person did as well. I was told its Eastern Sussex Dems who were targeted by the police.
So we have guys pointing guns at Witzke rallies and we have alleged Proud Boys at Witzke rallies protected by police with “selective vision” and slow walking investigations. Now we have Democratic campaigners being given harassment citations.
Anybody see a Police union problem?
O’Donnell and Walker were amusing. Witzke is legit dangerous! She has been paying off duty cops security stipends for a while. What is she getting in return? The DSP and FOP endorsements of Trump should be a flashing red light! Jane Brady is blithely cosigning all this. Having fun yet:)?

    • Alby says:

SuxCo state police operate as a special fiefdom. They should absolutely be defunded. Let Delaware’s confederates pay for their own police force.

    • Alby says:

Also, too, this shows how eager Witless is to keep her name in the media.

Look for more such outrages on her behalf by her supporters to further this agenda.
