Mike Castle is meeting with Delaware’s business leaders.

I wonder if he is rebuking them for being so greedy and short sighted?

On the one hand, business leaders are salivating over the recovery funds.

On the other hand, they are wingnuts and hate Dems.

Wingnuts may hate Dems but they love government contracts.

Mike Castle isn’t rebuking anyone. Aside from being a spineless coward, he’s the least powerful man in congress. Delaware business leaders are no doubt angry that Castle is two-timing them by servicing John Boehner instead, and are going to remind him who pays for his re-election every year. Delaware is ill-served by Ol’ Coiny.

Fun note: Mike Castle betrayed Delaware and didn’t even get a committee chairmanship out of the deal. Send forth John Carney!

Good point, X. The so-called Republican moderates in the Senate are quite powerful while the so-called Republican moderates in the House have little power. What does Delaware have to show for all of Castle’s years in the House?

A quarter with Cesar Rodney on it. That’s it.
