THE ARMED CITIZEN

Filed in National by on February 6, 2021

Here’s what Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene and the rest of ammosexual lunatics that are primarying any remaining halfway sane Republicans out of existence consider the single most important right in America: The right to murder your neighbors if they annoy you sufficiently.

WARNING: This video features two people getting murdered by the exercise of their neighbor’s Second Amendment rights in graphic and prolonged detail:

ETA: I really don’t recommend watching this. I’m definitely sorry I did myself, but I’m posting it because this is the kind of thing that some people probably should force themselves to watch. Anyway, proceed with caution.

Every time I see something like this I go check the Canadian and Spanish immigration pages again.

  1. Well. That was hard to watch. You’re right–the wrong people will watch it.

In the voice of your favorite local far right conservative: “Well at least he offed himself and saved the cost of a trial”. As noted many times I’m out in the sticks with the hicks, have found “little man, big guns” to be an eternal truth and consider it to be compensation for something else that mercifully will not be stated. This only goes on in America and is not tolerated elsewhere. Gee….. Wonder why?

By researching gun issues, I have visited many pro-gun web sites, so I get emails from pro-gun activist organizations. They are all worked up about this:

New Gun Bill Would Require Public Registry of All Weapons

It’s officially known as HR 127 and it’s about to be introduced in the House of Representatives by Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. And without a doubt the most radical gun control measure to ever be considered by the United States Congress.

H.R.127, which would require gun owners to register their firearms within three months, or face legal consequences. The proposed bill would also create a government database so the government can see who owns guns and where they are located.

In a post to Facebook, former vice presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party, Spike Cohen narrowed down some of the bill’s points that would target every single gun owner in the country.

1: Firearms License required for any new gun purchases or ownership transfers.
-Licensee Must be 21, complete a 24 hour gun safety training course, and must undergo a psych evaluation.
-Multi-tier license. Individual license for ownership and display of “antique” firearm, standard firearm license, and “military style” license.
-Military license requires additional 24 hour safety course.
-Licensing is revoked immediately for anyone indicted of a crime in which the sentence lasts longer than 1 year.
This heavily discriminates against anyone who has ever seen a therapist or had to get mental health treatment, such as victims of abuse and people with depression, and veterans seeking care for PTSD. Depression and addiction are mentioned specifically as reasons for licensing denial.

2: Requires an $800 annual government insurance fee for all current and future gun owners, to be paid to the Attorney General EVERY YEAR.

There is no grandfather clause, meaning this applies to anyone that owns a gun at all, not just those who purchase a new firearm after this passes.

3: Mandatory Nationwide Firearms Registration & Database
-ALL firearms owned shall be registered under penalty of up to $150,000 and 15 years in prison.
-Serial, make, model, date, identity of owner, and the location of where the firearm will be stored to be collected and maintained in a database by the US Attorney General.
-This information to be accessible by state, local, and federal police, military, as well as state and local governments.

    4: Ammunition and Magazine Bans
-Bans .50cal and larger ammunition outright.
-Bans all mags that hold more than 10 rounds

Sounds great to me. I’ve been pushing for a national gun registry for years.

The argument that guns are insurance against “tyranny” actually means that those guns are held by insurrectionists. People who state their intent to take up arms against our government should not only be disarmed but punished as traitors to democratic government.
