Republicans have no intention of certifying the victory of a Democratic presidential candidate after the 2024 election, if they control both houses of Congress at that point.
Legendary singer-songwriter Van Morrison released a new song on streaming platforms Thursday whose title espouses a classic antisemitic trope.
The lyrics of the song, “They Own The Media,” never indicate who the pronoun in its title refers to. But Morrison, a two-time Grammy winner, was also accused of antisemitism for the 2005 track “They Sold Me Out,” and throughout the coronavirus pandemic has been trafficking in conspiracy theories that frequently overlap with Jew-hatred.

Morrison and Eric Clapton have both always been dickheads, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that they’ve been rock’s most high-profile outspoken dickheads about the pandemic.

Walking being a current issue for me after the group fully cleared the Square I started walking down 10th towards my car and the single WPD dude came around the corner from where he was sitting on King and he had a delicious confused look:). I guess the WPD hate Palestine protesters less than BLM at least for the present.
Feel sure the “refuse to certify” game is coming for the next Dem president, we’ve already seen a preview in Pennsylvania where the Republicans refused to seat a Dem, playing the game for a few weeks and then dropping it. What we’re seeing is an antique political system that cannot cope with ruthless politicians in search of ultimate power.
Van Morrison makes great music. Won’t stop listening. Also won’t buy the new one. My highly-prized Van collection is complete enough.
