“Cheney primary challenger says he impregnated 14-year-old”

I sense the shadowy hand of Dick Cheney behind this revelation.

      • It is not at all hard to find cases like this in the sexually-repressed Mormon West.

And, considering the 14 year old actually did commit suicide at age 20, perhaps it is a little like Romeo and Juliet. If Romeo had been appointed to the court of Verona.

Juliet was 13 and Romeo about 16. They were both certainly minors. The age of majority in Florida, where the “affair” happened was already 18 at that time. So, he was an adult. I also don’t recall Juliet getting pregnant. They spent the one night together but nothing more specific is written. I believe the law in Florida at the time defined minors’ “consensual sex” as where the victim is 14-17 and the perpetrator is no more than 4 years older.

But I am sure Mr. Bouchard is “born again” and therefore forgiven anyway.
