Who is Steve Smyk Accusing of Cheating? Must be Spiros

As reported by Chris Kenny’s ‘Delaware Live’ Steve Smyk thinks Delaware elections are riven with fraud.

That Smyk thinks Delaware elections are fraudulent in the abstract is one thing, but he has made a serious accusation that has implications in the real world.  Who is the State Senator or Rep he is accusing of having won through fraud?

To answer that question, I started out under the assumption that a candidate would only risk cheating when the outcome was going to be close.   So when looking at who Steve Smyk might be accusing of cheating during the last election I decided to only look at close races.

Because the DEGOP, with widely hated candidates and policies, sucks so badly, there were only two races to look at.  Only Mike Ramone’s  win where a 350 vote swing could have changed the outcome, and Spiros Mantzavinos’ win where 274 vote swing could have changed the outcome.

I further assumed that Smyk wasn’t trying to fuck up a fellow DEGOPers game, so it is clear to me that Smyk is accusing Spiros Mantzavinos of cheating and Anthony Delcolo is the real victim.

I could pat myself on the back and call it a day, but these initial findings raise a few downstream questions that I will be trying to run down:

– were there assisted living homes in this district that had 274 empty bed on November 3rd 2020? or,

– is Smyk just recklessly pandering to the deluded MAGA assholes who make up his base?
