    So far the Republican Trump Excuse Squad has come up with “He thought they were his”followed by “He thought they were declassified”, and all on his own Trump recycled his famed “I didn’t do anything wrong!”. In contrast it’s been suggested his goal was to either sell the secrets or use them as a weapon. I find it more likely Trump thought he could do as he damn well pleased. To which I add it’s either prosecute or admit the rule of law does not cover all and hasten the end of democracy.
