Deep “I’m Proud to be an American” Thought
It is nice to know that a country that can raise bilions of dollars in a the blink of an eye to bomb the shit out of random countries can also raise billions of dollars for community investment projects.

We can raise billions of dollars for Iraq (I’ve seen estimates that the ultimate cost is $3T) and can cut taxes $1.35T, primarily targeted at the rich. We can also bailout the Wall St. Welfare Queens for $700B, but we barely passed $900B primarily aimed at the middle class. Plus, Republicans were all on board for another huge tax cuts for corporations and the rich!
If only we could raise billions of dollars to bomb the shit out of random community investment projects.
