University of Delaware students spend THE MOST in the country for education
Delaware is the most rip-offy rip-off in higher education.
According to a 2022 State Higher Education Finance report, University of Delaware of net tuition revenue was more than twice the national average in 2021, at $16,517 per full-time student.
Net tuition revenue is the total amount of tuition and fees, minus state and institutional financial aid.
Is that tuition for the whole school year or just one semester? Either way it seems absurdly high for a state school.
Ive stated here before that tuition and room and board at Drexel in philly for an out of state student is only $2800 a year more than an instate student at uofd. they dont want instate kids. but they do want continual state handouts
Correct, this game has gone on forever. Pack in the kids from out of state for the money and to hell with the native Delawareans. As noted their hand is always out for ever more state money.
I haven’t checked lately and I’m too lazy to do it now, but well over 50% of UD students are paying out-of-state rates.
The pigs run the Orwellian farm (UD)
The U of D has around $1.5 billion in the bank. There’s literally no excuse, other than greed, for in-state tuition being so high.
