Republicans want sluts and whores to die
It is really that simple. There is no need to negotiate with the “pro-life” liars who try to disguise their hatred of woman by saying that they are protecting “the children.”
Give me a break. Anyone looking at the overlap between “pro-life” and “pro-gun” can clearly see that they don’t give a fuck about “the children.”
Nope. It is all about hating women they imagine to be sluts and whores.
I suppose whenever there is social progress, there is retrenchment. An expression of yearning among some to return to what they think of as the virtuous old days. The numbskulls that are easy marks think they can buy the old days back into existence by purchasing commodified signs and symbols of that retrenchment.
So, whenever gay couples appear on TV, a case of Bud light is gunned down by someone. Whenever a children’s book consoles someone with a non-binary sexuality, “pro-life/pro-gun/pro-god” bumper sticker is purchased and a donation is made to Trump’s legal defense fund.
But the injured feelings of those same numbskulls need constant tending. The ante is always raised and smoldering discomfort needs to be fanned into flames of hatred.
Numbskulls who pine for the good old days are very easy marks for people who commodify and profit from fear and hatred.
The Trump email list must be pure gold for people who completely lacking in morals or conscience.

“Time wounds all heels”, the same for those determined to live in the past. The god squad always assumes they are right and the world is wrong, feel free to ask them. As noted social progress always comes with an effort to drag the rest of us into the past, the truth is we’re looking forward and have better things to do then worship the Great Sky Daddy of choice. Same for the mad gunners, especially the variety that thinks the 2nd amendment exists so we can “Fight the gub’mint”(Yes, I’ve actually heard that). The answer is in generational change, the old must depart before the new takes hold. And it’s a constant source of suckage.
