Comment Rescue – Happy Birthday!

Filed in National by on May 20, 2023

Happy Birthday wishes for your betrayal of retirees and pensioners, for your commitment to giving taxpayer money to the richest corporations in the world, for your dedication to keeping the wealthiest earners tax brackets among the lowest in the country, for allowing every scam-artist and grifter to form a shell company and launder ill-gotten gains, for setting up a Grover Norquist “Budget Smoothing” slush fund which will cause cuts in benefits and services to those in need, for your creation of the secretive society called “the Prosperity Partnership” guaranteeing that taxpayer money will never receive a return on investment, for being such a clever and witty personality who seriously rivals my bunions.

Yeah HAPPY BIRTHDAY to an uninformed, callous and devoid of personality charlatan who feeds at the public trough with the special interest pigs. Many more so you can suck some of that cash from your new bosses at Highmark, Christiana Care or any of the “Chamber of Commerce” other slime. For your birthday I am getting you a shovel to dig up your yard in search of your legacy that has been buried long ago.

When I moved here from Long Island in 1974 I found the semi rural promised land of Delaware, I also found the pathetic screed that if we cut their taxes “the millionaires will come back to Delaware!”. We cut their taxes and the millionaires still live in Texas, which I agree is good place for them. Delaware long ago perfected the art of kissing the ass of the rich, hoping the game is over with Carney, sadly admitting that “The Continuance” is still with us. And still I ask Good Government, where for art thou? The answer comes back Not In Dover.
