“Bid Review: Bids will be assessed based on both the highest price offered and the potential for community impact. The winning bid will be selected considering these two factors.”

What does that even mean? Well if one bid comes in at $20,000 and is going to have zero community impact, they could win. (Baby needs a new pair of shoes.) And if one bid comes in at $100.00 but is going to have 1 million pounds of community impact, they could win. There is no fixed formula.

If you have any other questions. You can leave a comment or use the email address above. After this Friday, use the email address only.

“Reserve Price: A reserve price of $1,000 has been set to ensure the sale meets a minimum acceptable value.”

Maybe consider not using a statutorily defined and regulated terms like “auction” and “reserve” and call it a request for proposals or something.

One last note. The fine people at Faw Casson CPA (are awesome accountants whom I recommend highly) have nothing to do with this offer.

They’ve kindly allowed me to use them for mail collection and bid drop off.
