Tracking Poll Roundup

Filed in Uncategorized by on February 16, 2007

Looks like Obama has a few fans here. He is the big winner on our Thursday tracking poll. followed by Vilsack, Gore and Kucinich (Kucinich? WTF?). There are 5 Republicans that got their polling on with us and they voted for Mitt Romney by a large margin.  Although in fairness, that could just be his wives voting for him. I don’t know what next weeks poll will be, but I am open to suggestions.

This would be the place where I would berate Jason for not including Lyndon LaRouche among the Democrat contenders, but he doesn’t seem to be running this time around. I guess Kucinich has the tin hatters sewed up.

  2. liberalgeek says:

I like my tin hat, but Kucinich is just a bad joke.

  3. Kucinich is marginalized WHY?
When the left runs to the center we get a Clinton, a Carper (A Castle)

“Every Democrat running on (Obama’s) ticket next year would lose because he’s black and he’s top of the ticket. We’d lose the House and the Senate and the governors and everything.”

    – South Carolina state Sen. Robert Ford on why he endorsed Hillary Clinton instead of Barack Obama for the Democrat presidential nomination

  5. liberalgeek says:

First, Kucinich is a fine individual and I’m sure he and I agree on lots of things, but he is way too out there to be electable. He is the left-wing equivalent of Pat Buchanan. I think you can be reasonable, liberal and realize that he has no shot.

HC, I find that quote and the sentiment behind it disgraceful. I am pretty anti-Hillary, but diminishing Obama’s electability on racial grounds is a high crime in my book. You want to knock him down for his ideas, fine. Ford should be ashamed.

  6. happycon says:

    Don’t blame me,
Ford’s a Democrat and not a person of palor.

  7. liberalgeek says:

HC – Sorry. Wasn’t implying that those were your sentiments but the reread does seem that way.
