Three years ago next Friday
The famous quote:
“We are more secure today than we were two years ago. The Taliban no longer rules Afghanistan and Saddam Hussein is no longer terrorizing the world or his own people.”
– Michael Castle September 7, 2004
Of Course George Bush was the shit back then, so no wonder Mike Castle was jumping into bathroom stalls with him.
Regardless of the nature of the war now, how is that an inaccurate statement? And why the need to make a not-so veiled homophobic reference?
Okay Hube, you started it. I know what I’ve heard and dismissed as none-of-my-liberal-business. What’s got you so touchy?
Jason , any chance we can call a political truce and hopefully see eye to eye on a local issues impacting schools /students? Check it out and maybe kick in a little support ?

Were all fight for a better state and country in our oun distorted way but yet we agree that change is needed.
Who’s touchy, Rebecca? I asked a couple very simple questions.
Regardless of the nature of the war now, how is that an inaccurate statement?
1) Even at the time we were not more secure.
2) The Taliban no longer ruled but had not been rolled up.
3) Saddam Hussein no longer terrorized the world or his own people. We had taken over that role.
Even at the time we were not more secure
Only your personal conjecture, period.
The Taliban no longer ruled but had not been rolled up
Yeah, and they only supported the guy who masterminded the 9/11 attacks. You forgot that “little” detail.
Saddam Hussein no longer terrorized the world or his own people. We had taken over that role
This is awesome. I’m going to use this is a Colossus post.
You gotta do what you gotta do.
