No, I’m not asking for your money. But there are two situations where you could really help us:
1. Liberal Geek, who has kept this blog running smoothly since the Eisenhower Years, is retiring from work. He and his wife will be celebrating in style and will literally be unavailable moving forward. We really need someone to step forward, someone with a modicum of tech expertise, to step into the role of our Blog Administrator. Geek will train (if you have 15 spare minutes). While DL pretty much runs itself, there are occasions where we need the kind of help that only someone like Geek can provide. So, please, Be Like Geek! Just send us a Private Message, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
2. Election Night. While I usually live-blog both the national and state results, I’ll be part of a panel on WDEL from 7 pm to 10 pm. You can click here to listen. I’ll be well-prepared with facts, opinions and, of course, snark, so give us a listen. Anyway, I’ll be posting Open Threads for both the state results and the national results. I need you to provide the updates and your thoughts to keep the conversation going. It’s always one of our most-visited nights of the year, so keep it going until I get home around 10:30.
