I just can’t get over how horrible modern Republicans are.

No matter what the issue is, the modern Republican party just brazenly fucks everyone in the ass. Read this crap.

CNN: ‘Day short’ troops now ‘fighting the Army they served’

The 2600 members of a Minnesota National Guard unit that returned from Iraq in July after serving there longer than any other ground combat unit were shocked to be told that their total time overseas of 729 days was one day short of the number needed to be eligible for expanded educational benefits under the GI Bill

    Welcome, 2600 new Democrats!

  2. I fail to see how an administrative issue can instantly be transformed into “horrible modern Republicans”.

Quote: “1st Lieut. John Hobot, a spokesman for the unit, told CNN on Monday that he believes it was simply a bureaucratic mixup…”

Quote: “CNN then asked Lieut. Col. Darryl Darden at the Pentagon what was taking so long. Darden praised Hobot for looking out for his men and said, “We know there has been an injustice and we have put together a process … to seek redress for this bureaucratic mixup. …”

Quote: “Rep. John Kline (a Republican) introduced legislation Wednesday that would resolve the problem. Kline, R-Minn.”

Bureaucratic insansity? For sure. A mad plot by heartless Republicans?

    Not quite.

  3. Shorty says:

Republicans are vile people that are in politics to make money off their connections. Take for example Bill Oberlie who is pimping the casino industry to maximum advantage. This political pimp needs to be primaried and a democrat should be running against him. He has been around too long. Have you seen the McMansion he has down the shore? He don’t even live in his district anymore. What arrogance.
    People deserve oppressors like him.

In plain English, this means, “We don’t give a fuck. Some of you died, some didn’t, some were maimed, but we won the election in 2004, so we don’t need you any more.”

    Not quite.

A mad plot…I guess you mean the war itself? (Or are you still a big booster?)

These downstream “mixups” are symptoms. The disease is GOP leadership. SCHIP, “death Tax” cuts, national debt, war on terror, it is just a brazen ass-fuck fest.

    I stand by observation 100%

    Been to Jersey much, Shorty?

  7. Disbelief says:

HAHAHA #6. You’re right! Dead giveaway. If shorty was from DE, he would have said, “at the beach”.

No, the correct Delaware way to say it is “His house is right on the wooter.”

  9. Disbelief says:

Is it one the wooter next to the far department?

  10. Veterans deserve better that is a fact. Next month at a Veteran’s group I will lay out our proposals for Veterans in Delaware.

    Have a great day.
