Anomolies: Rt 9 in Sussex county is an interstate highway, continuing across the lewes ferry into New Jersey. Del Rt 9 runs north to south along the coastline from Delaware City to the Air Force Base.
Rt 54 on Line Road in Delmar through Fenwick Island is a continuation of Maryland’s Rt 54, since the road is literally split down the yellow line.
Odd numbered limited access intra/inter-states run north & south.
