DelawareLiberal Surpasses FirstStatePolitics

Filed in Uncategorized by on July 6, 2007

A few months ago Dave Burris did a post about how much his blog was worth and he made some references to it’s superior value to our humble blog. Well, like the ideas over there, Dave hasn’t updated the little graphic. The new value of FSP is $22,017.06 (up from $20,323.44).  DelawareLiberal has soared from a meager $12,419.88 to it’s current value of $24,839.76.  (in Colbert’s voice) Eat it Burris!  Ahhh Friday.

FSP is where you were when you posted this, right @ $24,839.76. You’re up to $25,404.30 … for a difference of $564.54, now had Rosie taken over for Bob, and figuring in her politics, you just might have won the case showdown …

  2. M.Opaliski says:

    Err … the showcase showdown.

You have moderates and conservatives to thank. We come in here for good debate.

As usual the R’s are responsible for you making $$$ of course.

Congrats anyway because I do believe you mean well despite our different views.

  4. liberalgeek says:

The problem is that for all intents and purposes, neither of the blogs are really worth anything. But you are right, the debate is what make the site. The same is true at FSP.

    Must…find…tall window to leap from….

It is a team win. All the way down to Happy AL Levin – the Joe Biden fundraiser and rabid supporter – and Celia Cohen who uses Bill Roth and his dog as a soothing journalistic balm.

    Everyone played an important roll.

  7. its the ads, boys!

  8. Ryan S. says:

    JttR is now worth: $105,568.98.

    Suck it.

  9. I’d be interested in knowing how that site does its calculations. If it is the ads, as Nancy says, then that would explain why I’m a measly $22,000. I get hits and unique visitors out the wazoo, so I’d be curious as to how this shit’s calculated.

  10. liberalgeek says:

I suspect that it is on incoming links. It can’t be the quality of the content or number of visitors, JttR is worth 105K.

  11. J says:

    Mike

It’s probably based on the number of intelligent posts, so yours should shoot up in value too, since I just started to comment there also.

    or

add $10 for every Conservative comment and subtract $.01 for every liberal post since their shit doesn’t make cents! (LOL)

    or

give yourselves (all DE blogs) credit for developing a real alternative media source, thus creating a commodity.

  12. Ryan S. says:

It is probably incoming links. Nancy, I have zero paid-for ads.

‘geek…I have no idea how many visitors I get compared to delawareliberal.

  13. what I meant was that perhaps DE Lib doubling of value was from an increased readership attributed to ads…NOW THEY ARE way ahead of me!!

thank god some of the commenter’s don’t take away from our value
