Delusional.
How can a political opposition function when it is delusional?
I was listening to WDEL this afternoon and heard our Congressman say that he would either run for Senate or retire. Talk about a trial balloon. He wants to see if the party will rally behind him for senate when we already have a candidate who can win. Christine O’Donnell would be a superior senator in my opinion. She would be able to bring a much needed perspective of a principled, youthful, and thoughtful citizen who is still connected with regular life.
I can’t type that well when I am laughing hysterically.
David A. is sure feeling empowered lately, and why not? His side has obviously won the Republican war.
Now here’s something for Castle to consider… if O’Donnell stays in the race how will he do in a closed primary, especially with the 21%? Could his situation mirror (not to the same degree) Specter’s? Will Castle’s biggest obstacle be his primary?
In my opinion DaVinci was an idiot. So, since I say it, it must be so and so it is now. DaVinci is an idiot
I guess conventional says that Castle finds some way to buy off O’D.
1) He is not running, and even if he did
2) O’D does not seem the type to be bought off. In fact she probably thinks she matches up nicely against the “anti-life” congressman.
pandora,
I was asking that same question days ago. Is the DE GOP sane enough to pick a stronger candidate in Castle than O’Donnell? That would be interesting. I think if Castle is going to run, he’ll want the field cleared. Can’t he ask he to run for the House?
Teh stupid is in full bloom I see!
In a way, isn’t David right? I mean, Republicans will no longer get to hide behind moderates and they’ll be running on what they really believe. And the voters will get to decide.
She has about the same chance of winning as that guy named Protack.
David is like a drug pusher that’s hooked on his own supply.
I won’t argue with you about the amazing strength Christine showed last election in an historic sense. No candidate in modern history has gotten her kind of vote total against a Senator also on the ballot for VP.
I believe she was the votes for dollars champion. Though KWS did a pretty good job herself.
The real point (if you followed the link) was that Congressman Castle should form an alliance with her so that he backs her for house actively and runs for the Senate seat. That sort of got lost in your translation, but you did provide a link so that falls to the commenters.
Christine always brings riotous wingnuttery to the campaign trail. I hope she runs.
David wrote I won’t argue with you about the amazing strength Christine showed last election in an historic sense. No candidate in modern history has gotten her kind of vote total against a Senator also on the ballot for VP.
You mean like the 40% Beau Boulter received when running against Lloyd Bentsen who was on the ballot as Vice President and Senate?
Seriously, it is like shooting fish in a barrel.
She didn’t get more votes than Bill Lee, did she?
That whole “voters per dollar spent” thing is a bogus stat that losers use as a balm on their kicked asses.
It’s always an open question whether Ignorant Man is stating his actual beliefs when he comments on DL, or is just saying things he knows will upset the lefties.
That said, I wonder if the problem with the 21% like him is that they truly don’t understand the difference between a candidate like Christine and a real candidate. It’s easy to think, “No rational person could fail to see the difference. Christine O’Donnell’s God-first platform wouldn’t get her elected in Alabama yet alone Delaware.” Yet the David Andersons of the state keep insisting people like this are somehow electable, further alienating those of us who either don’t believe in Skydad or refuse to check every issue with Him before voting.
David: A simple challenge. Evidence, please, that she is electable in any venue, anywhere.
What, exactly, qualifies Christine O’Donnell to be a senator? Has she ever held any elective office? School board member? Civic association president? Dog catcher?
