Obama’s Delaware Grassroots
Obama’s Delaware grassroots operations which had already done some canvassing, got a shot in the arm with the addition of Brandon Hurlbut. Here is the latest news from organizer Rob Carver.
Hey everyone –
Things are moving along at lightning speed. We now have a full time
paid campaign director assigned to Delaware and here in the state on a
full time basis!!! He will be available to meet with all volunteers
tomorrow evening at the Doubletree Hotel on Concord Pike in
Wilmington. NOTE: This is NOT the same Doubletree we were at last
week but rather the one on Concord Pike next to the Concord Mall.We will use the time to sign up more new volunteers, introduce Brandon
Hurlbut to the group and lay out our basic field plan for the next
three weeks.YES, just three weeks from tomorrow is the Primary! We have been
making phone calls all over the state to registered democrats to ask
for their support on February 5! But, we have many more calls to
make, phone banks to set up, canvassing to do (look for more on this
in the next day or so) and poll workers to assign. PLEASE, if you can
take off on the 5th and work a polling station near your home, that
would be a HUGE help. We will have more sign up sheets for that
tomorrow evening. So, come on out tomorrow evening, watch the debate, meet Brandon, sign
up for coming events and help us prepare to WIN DELAWARE for BARACK
OBAMA!Sign up here: http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/4vbjz
Thanks

Anyone know where the fuck they’re meeting?
Sounds like the Doubletree Hotel on Concord Pike.

Hello!
I don’t have a lot of time, but I do have some and am interested in helping with the campaign.
Let me know what might be needed.
