We are going on the air at 9AM for 3 hours.  Be sure to call in and give us some ideas about how to burn through 3 hours of talk radio.

    Good point, Smitty. Ban him!!!

Ask the government-run guy if he’s willing to give up Medicare and Social Security. I’m still picking up only about 50% of the words, stupid work internet.

Well, normally I would want to hear them out in all their insanity, but if they are speaking in run-on sentences and can’t complete a thought that’s another matter.

I thought they were pretty nice to Protack, considering. They let him go on unchallenged about how awful the government is. So, did Protack call the military poorly-run?

The problem with state-run systems is generally they are just too small to compete with big insurance companies. Plus, I don’t think you can have state co-ops without tight regulation. Otherwise, it’ll just be like credit card companies. They will incorporate in the state with the least regulation.

I thought UI did great. I would have liked more serious questions, but then if I ran a radio show I’d probably put listeners to sleep.

RSmitty: that’s correct. Question sources. Follow the money. I’m in the pocket of Big Isotope.

    Good afternoon,

I listened to one half of the show and enjoyed it.

Let me clarify a part of what a few people don’t seem to get. I am not against government as a knee jerk reaction but I am 100%` aware of the limitations of government. The intentions are good initiative but the execution is usually bad headwork. Anything the government seeks to do which could be done by the private sector will cost more, take longer and produce a lesser result.

Now, for the military. There are two parts of the military. The men and women who serve and serve well under tough circumstances. I have no criticism of them at all. I think they deserve better pay, better equipment and top notch leadership.
The second part is the defense establishment which is extremely corrupt and driven by self interest and not national defense for Americans. Weapon systems live beyond their intended purposes but for the profits and cost overruns are SOP.

    Mike Protack
